We live thinking about coffee most of the days. Still, outside of the roastery and cafe we are always stimulated by people surrounding us. The ones who made the leap, started something important, and are building beautiful businesses deliberately and sincerely.

Urth and Phire are not only friends. Alvin, Darren, and Janice have been extremely generous with their time, expertise and advice particularly in our getting our own pottery studio on at Sen. Whenever we needed any advice or second opinion, they were ever willing to help us without a second thought.

What is even more impressive than the beautiful ceramics they make is the community that they have created. Their studio is cozy, welcoming and very human. It is that sort of place where you enter and you can feel that you belong there. Besides doing pottery, people visit to slow down, to interrelate and anticipate returning.
